The Cat's Meow

House cats' meows are designed especially for us. They don't make those same sounds to each other. Ever notice how your cat has a whole repertoire of meows? Each one is based on sounds they hear from us. Unlike dogs, cats don't think they're people, nor do they think we're cats. They understand we are separate species and therefore try to mimic our tones in order to communicate.
